Knit Picks "Wool of the Andes" in tan. 100% wool, 110 yards per skein. It's a bit too scratchy for me and I don't want felted slippers. $18 shipped.

Chocolate brown with flecks of forest green.
80% wool, 20% Japanese toraylon lace weight. There were 1000 yards per ball, but I made a teeny Blythe-sized sweater, so there's about 950 yards per ball. $9 shipped.

Or....all of this yarn as a set for $39 shipped. Paypal only. I live in a smoke-free home. I have pets (birds) but they are not let anywhere near my yarn.

i never thought of it, but tan WOTA would kool aid dye as well as any other wool... the colors might just be a little more muted.

and no. WOTA isn't superwash. it actually felts really well.

It should take the dye 'cause it's 100% wool. Here's a good article on kool-aid dying from Knitty :)
