Hey everyone! I've finished my first felted bag! It's the Two Measures of Joy pattern, but I used the first two measures of Rachmaninoff's Third piano concerto. It was made using Ella Rae wool on my new KnitPicks Options, and the notes were needle felted on! Thanks to everyone for their help, and a super special thanks to ecb and sara_jayne for the ideas and help with needle felting!!! :D

It's beautiful! I've never done needle felting and didn't realize that it could be so precise and bold. You did great.

It's beautiful! Is that purple? Georgeous color! I love music too! My sisters would freak over that! So cool to pick out the music you want! Is it hard to make? I have to make one of those!

Looks WONDERFUL! I'm having a heck of time with the notes, I tried to "chain-stitch" and it looks real bad. I'd love to learn how to needle felt! You did that purse so fast! Great job!

I would definitely recommend needle felting the notes on, especially because it uses up some of the black yarn used to make the lines for the musical staff and you can be really precise. :D
Thanks for the awesome comments, everyone! I'm so encouraged to know that you guys like my stuff and think of me as a "real knitter"!!!

I am delighted that it came out so well, and pleased that you made it your own and customized it with needle felting; the embroidery is time-consuming. Thank you so much for posting the photo. E. Mamo
