These are based on the Gentlemans Fancy sock in Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush. I shortened it quite a bit as I perfer ankle socks. I also decreased the number of rows per pattern repeat to make the stitch pattern appear more proportionate to the revised cuff.
