i learnt to knit about 18 months ago and have been desperatly trying to teach myself to crochet. i have loads of odd skeins of yarn that i would love to learn on to make a basic blanket for my son as a throw.

where can i learn free online to crochet please?

If you put "crochet tutorial" in a search engine it should give a dozen or so places to find help in learning to crochet.

I was told by some KHers here that.. crochetville.org has videos...and nexstitch. com has free videos too..
BTW: amy has suggested that some day in the future she may make crochet videos for KH (maybe with her shiny new camera~!:thumbsup:)

Unless it's something new crochetville.org doesn't have videos I don't think.. or didnt last time I was there. Nexstitch I've heard good things about and there are some others out there. If I can be of help just holler :)
