We met when I was in the 9th grade and have been friends...wow :shock:....this September will make 19 years. Now I feel old.

I'm about 10.5 inches into the pattern and loving it. The color is great and I'm using STASH YARN! Rather than the yarn specified I am using a worsted weight acrylic. She has 2 little ones and I don't think she needs the hassle of hand wash items.

So without further ado, allow me to present Coachella, The Beginning. (and a very grainy pic of Me and Dawn at her wedding last September.)

That is a beautiful color, and the stitches look great! She will LOVE it!

I've been on the fence about making this for myself since the new Knitty came out... still not sure.
