Thank you for your nice comments. I can't believe how fast it was to knit (I am not a fast knitter). I loved knitting the lace bottom, but all that stockinette was a bit tedious. But then I am easily bored....

Shine Sport was also really nice to work with. I will have to find more pattern I can use this yarn with :lol:

It is seamless - knitted in the round and the shoulders are a three needle bind off. No seaming! You will need to crochet a border, though.

We have received our usual yearly rainfall total - all in the past 30 or so days. Probably the only reason the grass is green (here in the usually hot and dry Texas it turns a loverly shade of brown.)
