:heart:i have two different hanks of the artyarns supermerino (107 marine & 113 chocolate). i'd like to knit socks toe-up, starting with opposite toes, and continuing up in opposite stripes, like this pattern (http://www.plfm.net/michelle/Toe_Socks.pdf). could i use this pattern, but start with a standard toe? any tips for doing two at once from just two balls? should i work each sock from opposite ends of the ball of yarn? do you know of a pattern that is what i am looking for? THANKS A BUNCH:heart:

What I would do is to divide each yarn color into two balls each. That way I wouldn't get confused about which end was which, it'd just be easier for me, with less to think about. :teehee:
I'd use this (http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer06/PATTuniversalsock.html) pattern too. I realize I've been recommending this pattern a lot lately, but it's so easy, and makes a really nice looking sock!
Good luck, it sounds like they'll be really pretty socks.
