This will be for my oldest grandson for Christmas along with a matching stocking cap. My first attempt at striping, which is pretty much a cinch. I have to try some new things a little at a time!

Beautiful colors! What is the yarn? And the pattern? I'm sure he'll love it.

The pattern is from a Leisure Arts book called
Creative Collection to Knit which has some great patterns in it for all ages of kids.

The yarn is Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in Colonial Blue and White. This is an acryllic yarn, knits up nicely and washes and dries great. The first wash and dry and it comes out really soft. I have found for an inexpensive yarn, I really like it even if the "vowel woman" is on the yarn sleeve!
