We've been car shopping over the last couple of weeks and my husband wants us to get a 07 pathfinder. Its nice (just too much vehicle for my taste). I found the Hyundai Veracruz today and fell in love! If anyone has had any experience with this new line please let me know.

Cute, Mason.

But have you ever tried to load kids and groceries into the back of one of those babies?

since you're asking, i would personally go with a company that has been around longer. toyota or honda, ford or chevy would be my four top picks.

and i know a lot of people love SUV's, but seriously, think about the gas you will be burning. not only is it expensive, it will eventually be limited if we burn through it too fast. kwim?

I think the Hyundai minivan is recommended by Consumer Reports. I don't think their SUVs were recommended, though. If you're looking for a mid-size SUV, I'd also look at the Honda Pilot. Everyone I know who has one loves it, and I don't feel like I'm scaling Mt. Everest to get into it.
