Lorna Lace - Flamigo Stripes. This yarn is soooo yummmmy and soft.

I bought it when I was on vacation in Florida and I wish I would have bought more.

This Sweet Pea Sock pattern http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATTsweetpea.html (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATTsweetpea.html) is very easy to follow and I had fun knitting this pair on Size1 Addi (two at once on two circulars).

I will probably have enough yarn to make another pair but will have to find a toe up pattern. I highly recommend this pattern and I generally don't like cuff down patterns.

They are for my 12yo DD.

Very cute socks!!! My 14 yo daughter would love them too, except that she thinks that socks are disposable. You put them on and wear them until they fall to pieces, then throw them away (or more likely leave them in the garden or the garage)!!

Sugarfunpouch, I got it while on vacation in Jacksonville, FL. You can get the yarn online though.

Jill A, my 12yo has knitted a pair of socks so she knows the time and expense.

Those are adorable! And the yarn is yummy... I am definitely trying this pattern with my next pair of socks. How much yarn did you need? Would one 50 gram skein be enough?

Snugglebugmom, It depends on how long you make them. This is what I had leftover and I plan to make another pair of toe-up socks from it.

Thanks! I am going to make them, but will keep an extra skein on hand just in case.
