View Full Version : easy way out of a tangle?

I'm currently knitting a fair isle hat on circular needles. It became super twisted, and tangled. It's a mess--It looks like a Christmas wreath with thread twisted around it.

I've been trying to work out this tangle for over 2 and a 1/2 hours.

Would the easy, advised way to get out of a tangle be to just cut both ?

After 2 1/2 hours I say either cut or find some meth. I reccomend the cutting though : )

If you think back and could remember how you got into this terrible tangle, you'd have a great knitting pattern for a Xmas wreath.

What colour is the wool? - You could always spray it green and add a few red berries. If you can persuade yourself that it is a Xmas ornament, then the angst :hair: should abate somewhat.

I'm sure you're not the first and you certainly won't be the last to have to literally cut your losses. Start over again, in the morning.

well...even though it's a mess, the threads are just super tangled

I wouldn't have to start all over; I just have to make 2 incisions, and then join 2 new skeins of yarn

I got my first camera btw :-DDDDDD
