hi there, i am working on the new patons book called beautiful designs. the striped cardigan is the one i like but it is worked sideways and i am at the part where you are supposed to cast on 32 sts for the armhole. how do i do that, with the colour i just used, spread out over the whole row, which i don't think makes sense if it is for the armhole.
i didn't see any corrections on the website so i was wondering if anyone had an suggestions as to how to accomplish this?

I don't really get what you're asking but if you're wanting to know which cast on to use, I'd try the knitted cast on since it's so many sts. If you're asking about the color, I have no idea, not having the book, unless that color stripe is carried up to the shoulder then you'd continue with it.
