My husband teases me... we plan on moving to Scotland so he can finish his PhD or when he finishes... anyway... its in our plan and he swears the only reason I want to move there is the accents and the kilts.

I would argue... but he isnt too far off. It does help that I've traced my ancestry back to Scotland. We arrived Stateside in 1662. :)

I must say that the eye candy in this thread is primo. Thanks for sharing!

I'm a con-geek girl, and what's popular at conventions full of geekdom (besides scantily clad models paid to wander in the dealer room and draw geek boys by the hundreds)? Utilikilts (http://www.utilikilts.com/)!

OK, I confess: I read trashy romance novels and some of my favorites are set 100's of years ago in Scotland, with all those men running around in kilts. Gosh! I can just picture it. Makes me crazy..............................

There are so many Scots who visit Disney at this time of year and the accents are soooooooo wonderful. I just love them.

Gosh, who is that actor that was in the movie "Sliding Doors" with that gorgeous accent?

Give me a tall, dark and handsome Scot in a kilt any day! And I don't even care what comes out of his mouth, as long as he just keeps talking.:lol::lol::lol:

The scottish accent doesn't do that much for me...since my step grandfather is scottish and after 30 years of living state side still very much has his accent intact. Rather than sexy, when I hear a scottish accent, I think of my grandpa, with his walker and dialysis.

BUT if I ever saw a man that good looking in a kilt, I would definitely slow down to notice. The only guys I ever saw in kilts were big dorks who just wanted to make a social statement...but didn't really know what social statement they wanted to make.

John Hannah?

Those of you who like men in kilts and scottish accents really should invest in the "Monarch of the Glen" BBC series. :D Not to enable y'all or anything. ;)

misha, you made me laugh out loud!!! I agree. My dh is sitting in another room.

I did think of someone that wears a kilt and it does NOTHING for me....Prince Charles.:?? His son's might be a different story.:woot: I better get my mind back on knitting...I'd be robbing the cradle with those two young men.:fingerwag:

Why don't most of the Scottish men I know look like that in a kilt? *sigh* I'll just keep these pics and dream.

Ew, you can see his butt!

Anyhow, I'd post pics of my hubby in his kilt, but I don't wanna share.

One day at work a few years ago there was a man walking around in a kilt. I thought it a little out of the ordinary, but I didn't want to stare and be rude. About a week later, there was an article in the local paper about those utilikilts. It was written by the guy I had seen wearing the kilt at my workplace. I have to say that, after looking at the pictures accompanying the article, that reporter looked pretty HOT!.
