:woohoo: Its done....I saw a photo of this blanket and just knew i had to make it....my brother and i loved scooby when we were growing up and when i saw it i knew it was the colors of the van.I think it turned out really good and it was fast and easy....only took me a week.I used Caron Simply Soft Brites in,berry blue, limelight and mango. You hold 2 strands together through out and use a big hook.I could only work on it at night becouse it been so hot here :hot: but it was worth it :woot:
Close-up of the flowers...i had to make them 1 at a time and sew them on!!

That is so excellent! It's beautiful in and of itself, aside from the Scooby theme, although the fact that it's Scooby makes it all the cooler... I love it!

OMG! It only took you a week!? HOW?! Haha. It would take me ages! I made a scarf once, as long as that or so, and it took me a week! My wrist was killing me at the end of it.

If it is not too much trouble I would love it if you could write it down. It doesn't have to be a line by line just fairly general. Thanks so much! But if it is too much trouble don't worry about it. I can play around a while and figure it out.

Sorry it took me awhile to get back...life has been busy.Im not very good at writing patterns so i will just try to explain what i did then if anyone has a question i will try to answer as best i can.
Lets see if i can do this
Caron Simply Soft Brites colors i used!!
Holding 2 strands of yarn together throughout and using a K hook(or larger)
Ch 30,DC in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across,ch 3 turn...repeat till you have 16 rows of DC...then you change one strand of the yarn for another color and dc 16 more rows.....you just repeat this till the strip is as long as you want(ending with the colors you started with, like if you started with 2 strands of blue you end with to strands of blue,if you started with one of each color then you end that way)....then you just make however many strips you what to make the blanket as wide as you want, then sew them together.
This is the pattern for the flowers i made and sewed on Here (http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=1043)
Like i said im not very good a writing patterns so i hope this helps.Wish there was a pattern to this somewhere but i never could find one thats why i made my own.
