I was wanting to make http://www.helloyarn.com/lopitote.htm lopi tote from hello yarn and wondered if I could add a cable or two to it? If so what size should I do, 6 or 8 wide? and then how often should I cable it, 6-8 rows? Didn't know if the cable would show up and still be pretty after felting. tia

This (http://www.spunmag.com/article/060421cleo) felted with cables and looks cool! I've never tried it, but I suspect it would work. You'd just have to make a BIGGER cable than normal to account for shrinkage.
