I got some of this from the Webs sale, and :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: I think it's my new favorite yarn. So soft and beeeeutiful. I got the greenish colorway and the colors are so subtle and lovely.

Unfortunately, it's apparently discontinued because I can't find a full complement of the colors anywhere.:pout: There are some places that have orange, but I don't want that.

Anyway, if you have a chance to check it out or want some pure lovely luxury to knit with. . . .

Wow! You are right... I can't even touch it and I think it is beautiful.

Whoa... now THAT would be the death of my bank AND savings account. If it were possible to feel the yarns that we see online before we buy. I'd have a ton of yarn and not enough time and no clue what I'd knit with them.

Speaking of... when you find some yarn for sale that you really like, how do you know how much to purchase if you don't know what you are going to make with it? I'm afraid I wouldn't get enough or would get too much for whatever project I did (buying before I know what I need for a specific pattern).

Unless I know I'm only going to make a scarf or something small with it, I generally buy enough for a sweater. If I knit all my yarn into sweaters, I figure that I'll have one for every day of the fall, winter, and spring.:teehee:

Here's a "rough estimate" calculator.
