ok... I knit from left to right when I knit in round... I know it's odd but it works best for me when I'm knitting things that I designed.

problem... I want to do a sweater with a really pretty knit purl pattern that I found in a book. The sweater is a right to left pattern.

would I just read each line backward to get the same pattern? Ect: k1, p2, k2, p1 would become p1, k2, p2, k1 or something like that...

That should work. :think:

I think as long as the pattern has the same amount of stitches on each end it should be easy.
When you don't have the same amount of stitches on each side (or lace pattern or whatever) it starts getting trickier and you'll have to do a little math.
