This is a really pretty pattern and I love the scarf.. it needs to be blocked, but I'm scared I'll ruin it so I'm going to have to knit something else to practice blocking on

I made my dil a silk alpaca scarf for her birthday and it was so soft! That is really beautiful. You did a great job!

It's beautiful! I love the pattern -- where did you find it? And the yarn looks so soft and touchable. Can't wait to see it blocked so the pattern will really show.

I was nervous too about blocking my first silk/cashmere garment. Someone on this forum recommended spritzing it with a spray bottle of water/Eucalan solution and lightly blocking, and that worked out great.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments - I really must get it blocked....

Slim - hopefully this link to the pattern will work. The pattern would most likely show up better with a thinner yarn.
