Thank you. Yes, I did try to make it really symbolic! But kind of fun, too , hopefully. The pattern is from Hello Yarn, the same place as the Irish Hiking Scarf. They have some cute things.

I am just not sure whether to put fringe on it or not.

I'm currently knitting this same scarf (however, I'm using Caron's Simply Soft) and I keep finding myself getting lost in the pattern. I feel like I take 2 steps forward and 4 steps backward. At this rate I'll be finished by Easter...

Thanks everyone, for the kind words! I'm about 2/3 of the way through. It's turning out a little bit heavy (probably should have done 3 rows instead of 4) but by golly, it will be warm!

When I first saw your scarf, I thought how pretty it was and what a great job, then I thought "how cute, it looks like it could be x's and o's for hugs and kisses". Well duh...it is! LOL
I hope your Mom is doing better..

RS = right side (of your work)
WS = wrong side (of your work)
Love how it's turning out and in that beautiful red color too!! You'll have to let us know her reaction - she's going to be so thrilled!

It is stunning, absolutely beautiful. If someone were to give me that, I would feel so loved. I sure hope it cheers up your mother, and the cheer brings her to good health!
