I thought I'll go check out a yarn store here before I go back to canada (I'm in egypt now:woohoo:)..thinking it'll be cheaper..so I go and it is cheaper but the collection is pretty small and its mostly scratchy acrylic..and some cottons..so I bought 3 lil balls of cotton yarn..2 of them are gorgeous self striping yarn(2 different colorways)..and one is a solid red..
each ball is 134 yards...and I didn't buy more cause I wasn't sure if it wasn't crappy like their other yarns..

so what do I do with those? i need to make some dish/face cloths for a teacher i had, for christmas:cheering:..so would self-striping yarn look good in that? and would it be enough?

or should I go back and get more and do something else?(I really don't want to)

any easy suggestions are very welcomed!:woot:

I would think you would have enough of the self striping to make a face cloth...is it a soft cotton?...I'd go through the patterns here (http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/bath.php)and see which ones would work but that should be plenty... you might be able to get that from the one red as well or something smaller...

I think these (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tribble)are cute and they don't take much...esp if it's a rougher cotton...
