Hi. I'm trying to work Patons Cable Knit Bag pattern (found at Michaels; Create It #25345). Okay, I cast on 79 sts, work 14 rows stockinette. Now can't interpret the following:

R1: *work 1st row of panel A. **c5f. k3. Rep from * once, then from * to ** once.

Does this mean: work 1st row of panel A (21 sts), c5f, k3. work 1st row of panel A, work 1st row of panel A, c5f, k3.?????

I hope this makes sense. THanks so much in advance.

Actually I think it would be:
work 1st row of panel A (21 sts), c5f, k3. work 1st row of panel A, c5f, k3, work 1st row of panel A. You repeat all of it and then repeat between * and **.

i had to read it several times but i think you are right. the subsequent rows are similar with both * and **. whew!! thanks.
