I finished this one a couple weeks ago in time for late summer. The pattern is my own. It's made with SWTC bamboo yarn on size 5 needles. It only took 2 balls!

That is just fantastic!!:woot: Everything about it. It looks like it came off the Knitty site. Everything looks so professional from the top itself to the model and the photography. You did a great job. Maybe someone would like to buy this pattern from you, I mean like a magazine. I love the neck treatment and the way you used the increases/decreases for the shaping. What a neat effect you got. Just great.

Thanks again, everybody. The pattern is available at Swanky Knits, but I didn't say at first because I'm not sure about self-promotion on this board.

Jeanius, that was only the second time I braided my hair. It's such a pain to braid it, takes nearly 3 times as long as just twisting it (nearly 6 hours!), and the take-down takes nearly as long! However, I think I could stretch it and make it last for 3-4 weeks next time. I'm not sure when I'll next do it, but thank you for the compliment and for noticing!

(:poke: has yours gotten softer with wearing?)

I'm not sure what you mean by softer? It was already really really soft. It stretched a bit, so after 3 wearings I wet and blocked it and it's back to normal.

Thanks so much. :aww: Actually, I have submitted to magazines (print and online) several times now, but everything I submit gets rejected. :pout:

You really have talent! The tank looks and fits you great! Don't give up on the submits to magazines etc. --- sometimes they just have all of a particular item patterns that they need at the time --just keep trying! One of these days we'll see you published!!
