View Full Version : Where to get a blocking board in Buffalo?

I'm heading to Buffalo soon and wanted to get a blocking board but am unsure where to go. I went to Joann's last month and they had no idea what I was talking about.
Am I better off sticking to buying it online or is there somewhere in Buffalo I can get one?

I live near San Francisco and I couldn't find one around here either. I finally got it online. I haven't met anyone who actually found one in a store! There's gotta be some somewhere, tho!

The Yarn Harlot mentioned that she used those foam squares you put on the floor either in kids' rooms or under exercise equipment. They come in gray or in colors, and you can find them in the flooring section at Lowe's or Home Depot. Pins go in really nicely.
I wonder if those puzzle piece shaped floor foamies would work. I saw those in the dollar store.

I wish I could help you. I lived in Buffalo for 5 years and the shopping's pretty good there. But I didn't knit when I lived there and so I never investigated any yarn stores.
I did find this for you, though:
