Hello! I've checked out this site and forum so many times, but this is my first time posting.

I'm stuck on hat pattern from Stitch Diva -- it's their Pageboy hat.

On Round 7, that starts with 48 stitches, it states:
"With larger needles [(K1, P1) into next stitch (increase), P7] until end. (54 sts)"

In the Materials section of the pattern it states I need #10.5 and #11 needles, so I'm assuming that the first part means switch to the #11 from the #10.5... from there I'm lost. Can anyone help?

Yes, you are right, you change to the larger needles.

K1 p1 into the same stitch means you knit into the stitch but don't pull the stitch off the needle, then you bring your yarn round the front and purl into the same stitch, then you take the stitch off the needle. You have just increased by one stitch.
