Is it possible to do intasia on only the cables of a cabled fabric? I was thinking it might be cool to see something like that, but I didn't know how hard it would be. Has anybody tried this? Do you have any pictures you wouldn't mind posting?

I know for a fact that you can do cables this way! Two books come to mind

Vogue Stitchionary 3 (http://www.amazon.com/Vogue-Knitting-Stitchionary-Three-Dictionary/dp/1933027029/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-3180048-6754410?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1189793942&sr=8-1)

and

Cables Untangled (http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Untangled-Exploration-Cable-Knitting/dp/1400097452/ref=pd_sim_b_3_img/002-3180048-6754410?ie=UTF8&qid=1189793942&sr=8-1) which has a beautiful Two-Color Pillow that is fair-isle instead of instarsia. Simply stunning imho.
