Right now I'm listening to wehm (www.wehm (http://www.wehm)) from East Hampton New York which is an over the air station that also broadcasts online through their website. I thought it would be fun if we share the stations and/or sites we enjoy. I know Yahoo has their own channels and Itunes also has a bunch of online stations to listen to. Wehm labels itself as "Progressive" but has a really nice variety of music I don't ordinarily find on the radio. Who's next?

Whenever I do listen to something online, it is Yahoo's LaunchCAST. I like it a lot because I am able to tell it (by a rating system) what songs I like and which ones to never play again.

WFUV.org (http://wfuv.org/)

My favorite radio station from Fordham University in New York. Great mix of alternative music with great DJs.

Check 'em out.

I use shoutcast.com... it uses winamp, which has gotten much better over the years. They have a huge variety of music... I suggest Digitally Imported if you like trance/electronica :)

I like to listen to wbjc and since I don't live within range of them I listen on their website sometimes: wbjc.com

It's a classical music station and they play outstanding music

I like 94.7 the globe

they play a little bit of everything. stuff from the 60's thru today. sounds cheezy, but really, I like just about everything they play and their DJ's have been Washington DC radio legends since the 80s. (Weasel!!) I usually have their live feed on my work computer.

I like KROQ, because while I live in Vermont I'm originally from California and it was my favorite station!

I also like Snakenet radio, but that's a bit on the heavy side.

Not a favorite station, but favorite radio show ;)
Khouse (http://www.khouse.org/6640_cat/):
66/40 with Chuck Missler
Getting Serious about the Bible
The great discovery is that the Bible is a message system: it's not simply 66 books penned by 40 authors over thousands of years, the Bible is an integrated whole which bears evidence of supernatural engineering in every detail!

simple. None. I listen to no online radio at all. I only ever listen to radio while driving and then only half the time and when some amusing/interesting dialogue people are on.

Has anyone else tried http://www.pandora.com ? You tell it some artists you like or songs and it matches other songs and artists. Very intersting and I've found some really great artists that way.

I listen a lot to SR Sápmi, the Swedish Sámi radio. I'm a big fan of the Sámi languages and music, especially yoik in any form. Almetjh Tjööngkheme, Niko Valkeapää and Shaman are my favorites. Tiina Sanila is great as well, but I don't think they've played her on SR Sápmi.

Most of the time, as in 99% of the time, I listen to music on the radio, but the stations I listen do have streaming audio on their websites.

www.q90fm.com ----->christian rock station
www.christianfamilyradio.net -------->Christian family radio w/programs and lighter music

WFUV YEAH! ZKImom.... that's our favorite too!

When in the car usually. When I'm knitting in front of the computer I love to listen to NPR stories by writers, interviews and such... latest music clips....

but the most fun is BBC. Not only all kinds of music but sometimes I listen to a whole play (theater) which is really cool.

P.S. What a great topic! Looking forward to checking out all these places I haven't been. Thanks!

I can't really take the credit. A Doctor I work with was playing it. As I was transcribing all I could hear in the background was my fave jazz singer. Had to call him and say that I loved that we both liked the same woman. Low and behold he hadn't really know who she was until pandora played her for him.

I used to like in NY so I used to listen to z100 all the time. Now I listen to it on the internet and it influences the songs I buy on iTunes. Most of the music I listen to is actually on my computer though...
