Those are for burial? For whom, if I may ask? Do you donate them?

I donate them to the local hospital for preemie babies because when a SMALL baby passes away people don't usually have anything to bury them in.

Good grief how did you manage all that. I can tell from the picture that isn't the sweater I saw today is it?? I thought I was doing good because I got most of the toe and instep done on that clog before dinner. And I didn't have an hour's drive to get home. I am completely amazed at what all you do.

Me too. You are the first person I have done something with up here that wasn't like a church thing. I am really beginning to feel settled here! I saw yarn harbor in a whole new way today.

Julie, you sweater turned out really cute! How lovely they all are and what a kindness you provide to parents of the little ones that don't survive. I am afraid I would cry all over them as I knit them. It is a wonderful thing you are doing and they are all beautiful! :muah::muah:

Momwolf, your burial gowns are just lovely. I  all the special touchs you add to yours.

I, too, knit for preemies that don't make it, I call them my Littlest Angels items. But the hospital I knit for prefers all white items.

Lovely little cardigan...The little burial gowns are sweet and its a good thing you are doing. I make preemie hats for our local hospital and was considering burial gowns but haven't got round to it yet. xx

Momwolf,

I've been looking for a pattern for these burial gowns for a similar purpose. Might I inquire as to what pattern you used for these beautiful gowns? thx

Beautiful work with nice added touches of love. Any parent would be proud to send their little one to the angels dressed like a little angel. Keep up the good work. I shall go now and have a wee cry for them all, and then carry on knitting my afghan.

Bless you!
