Yeah, I got my package. I don't know who my partner was, no card or letter in the box and the label on the box has what is left of an address, no name. Hint, Vermont.
Here is the pic, a nice VT towel, VT mini mug, VT Pancake Mix, VT Syrup (my dh grabbed onto that right away, cause it is the real stuff!), some candles, hot chocolate mix (hmmmm) and two skeins of blue varigated yarn. Thank you secret partner.

I made a few last year for Christmas gifts - I love the way they look when they are done.
I saw that pattern a while back but it didn't look nearly as cute as Karens! I've already got it cast on and have worked a full repeat. Using some of my stashed yarns that my mom gave me that is ancient! I'll post pics (when done and when I find that dang cord for the camera).

She sent me a Mary Higgins Clark book (haven't read any by her yet!), some cute Christmas-themed soaps, orange blossom bath fizzies, peach lotion (used it already - yummy!), a tape measure, some Post-It notes and fun pens, and a snowman necklace.

Oh, and the yarn...I'm still petting it...two skeins of Malabrigo in Verdes (variegated greens) and a skein of Schaefer Miss Priss in blues and greens!

Lllllllllove the Mmmmmmalabrigo! :) I've got one skein of the Verdes and it's going on the needles very soon after Christmas!! It is truly heavenly to work with. I made my MIL a scarf from a red colorway...it's so soft.

This is where I got confused....:roflhard: I LOVE all the helpful papers...and stuff...but I had nothing to dye...so I was already planning my order for some yarn and dyes...cause I was reading these and it sounds SO easy! In there was a pattern for a lace shawl to dye after knitting....OMG..such NEAT ideas!

THe squishy package with the dyes really tripped me out, cause the dyes are so LIGHT! I thought they would be heavier...like liquid...but these are like a powder(?) and I really didnt know they were in there!

As for the pages, I have nbo idea! They are like really thick card stock...so they will last a long time!

To my secret swap pal...I went home today and about two hours later I got a phone call from my boss ( who you know is also my aunt) well anyway she calls me to say hey the box you have benn going crazy over for the last two weeks is here.. she said one of the daycare parents almost tripped over a "present" left on her door step. She told me that my box has christmas paper on the outside of it and the mom who found it thought that someone lefted a christmas present on her step..she said they did..but it wasn't for her..it was for ME :woot: she told her that I was in a swap and it seems that I have a very nice pal since she took the time to wrap the box...(but I already knew I had a great pal) anyway I told me aunt that I will be at work a little earlier tomorrow to open my package... I wanted to run back to work tonight but I couldn't lol. I plan on taking my laptop to work along with my camera ...hopefully I will be able to figure out how to post pictures on here...if not I will have someone who knows what they are doing help me...one way or another I will get pictures on here lol...man now I will be dreaming of yarn all night long. So pal you will be a secret for one more day lol. Thank you for my package....hmmmm I wonder what is in it this is not fun...my box is sooo close yet so far away hmmm i have a key to work lol but I think I will get beat for going in now lol.....I'll be good and wait until tomorrow.....since I have to lol. I heard from my swappee and she said she mailed my package. I have a feeling you all are going to have to wait until 2008 to learn the secrets inside.. for I am going away this weekend and I won't be home until January 1, 2008.

So unless this package was special delivery by one of Santa's reindeer out on a special flying mission, I have a feeling it is going to be sitting in my house waiting for me when I get home. My daughter will be picking up our mail and checking our house ever day while we are gone, so it won't "disappear".

The first pic is 2 balls of lovely Lett-Lopi in a wonderful chocolately color, pure wool, soft enough to make the mittens in the 2 pic (lovely cables, lovely lovely mittens, must make!) and she even included the dpns needed to make the mittens with! (Good thing-the pattern is in English and Icelandic, hard to figure out the needle size thingy):roflhard:
The third pic is a wonderful surprise, 3 sets of gorgeous hand made? wooden buttons, they are so lovely I have to make a sweater just to use the buttons!
the fourth pic is yummmmmmmy smelling things, some orange tea that I said I loved (thank you thank you!) and the best smelling sugar spice candle ever, it's already burning!

No worries Maria! I already have a coat designated for the 10 matching buttons that will be PERFECT! I think the other ones I might use for bag/purse closers. I have never seen anything like them! The candle made my house nice and yummy smelling, and I am taking the tea to work because it is so COLD there!

Here is my great package from my pal....now at the very beginning of the swap I got a pm from Astonh from my "pal" well I got all excited thinking that my pal gave herself away...I thought it was Astonh...but then I saw that it was from my secret swap pal....who in the end was indeed ASTONH lol...sneaky isn't she. I got the best gift in the mail... she sent me two skeins of Bernat denim style in a cream color for this adorable dog sweater ( I told heather I wanted to make my dog one) she also sent me hand made stitch markers, they are beautiful! A bag of snow man soup (hot coco) yummmmm. A mug to drink it in which she filled with hershey's chocolate, and a angel ornament for my Christmas tree. As you can see she also sent a Christmas card:) I am so happy with my gift thank you sooo much Heather :muah: this swap was a lot of fun
