Here's the pattern for a "Martha" poncho that I want to knit for my daughter's pug, Etheline. I'm making the medium size, which I hope will fit. However, I'm having a heck of a time getting through these instructions. They're just not making sense to me.

I managed to get through round 1 but, when I finished round 2, I can't figure out what they mean by 15 blocks; 2 corners. I've got six sets of 3dc and then 6 sets of 3 dc, ch3, 3dc and one set of 3dc, ch1, 3dc. Sooooooo, how does that compute to 15 blocks, 2 corners?

I'm using Homespun because, if I'm gonna call it a "Martha" poncho, it HAS to be in Homespun, just like hers! I thought this was going to be a nobrainer but, frankly, this is giving me a headache! http://crochetville.org/forum/images/smilies/banghead.gif

Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Blessings,
Leslie

LadyBeBop over at Chrochetville helped me to "see" what I was doing wrong. I totally was misreading the pattern. Duh!

It's easy to have a "huh" moment when starting a new crochet project. I usually put it up for the night then start on it the next day then It's like a light bulb turns on. Don't know why but that usually solved the confusion for me.

Very glad you got it figured out. It is going to be so cute when it's finished. :cheering:
