Ooo, great job there, Mason. Now if I can gather up the courage to make one for DH. I would have to peruse the ML video and learn it as I don't have DPNs.

Great Job!!!:woot: I love knitting hats and I am lucky enough to have family in Tenn where it gets cold so I have someone to knit them for. Your pattern is really interesting and love the yarn.

I cast on Silver's Palindrome scarf tonight in black yarn. I'm too busy getting ready to leave out in the morning to work on it but at least it's cast on.

Thanks.

I'm picking up a partial in DeLand, FL tomorrow and I think I'm picking up a truck somewhere around Tallahassee (that one is a maybe) and to be honest I am only guessing it's all going somewhere in the general direction of WI.

I was in the middle of cooking dinner when dispatch called and I caught the general gist of it and told her to call me tomorrow morning with the specifics.

I agree- the hat looks great. NOW, when are you going to start on the 'celtic cable?'

Hey, I went to your blog.. (I'm noticing them all over the place- since, I starting writing one 3 days ago) and I couldn't figure out a way to post. I was going to tell you that when I was growing up.. my dad was a manager for an oil company and part of their business of course.. had trucks to haul the supplies/etc.. and I remember a semi being in the truck lot.. w/ the top peeled back.. yep, someone had gone under one of those underpasses that was too short for the truck.

I always wondered what happened to the overpass/bridge part. :D

Great job!! The set looks great...

My son's eyes are a very icy blue or something... they show up bright and pretty in pictures too... My grandmother had the same eyes but she is no longer with us... he doesn't remeber her so he is always asking why didn't I get your eyes or dads...he doesn't understand that his eyes are what all of us want... :teehee:

Mason, Did you have any trouble with the edge flaring when you binded off? They look wonderful !!!! I am doing a scarf for a friend and close to finishing and I want it to look nice on the end so before I bind off I need to know if there are any tricks to do that! Have a safe trip!!

Well since I have computerless for over a week I hadn't caught this post until today. Wow! Last time I was here the hat wasn't started now it is done. And it looks great. How do you like silver's scarf. I am working on it now and love it. It has a nice rhythm to it. I am using malabrigo and it is my first mmm. It may be hard to give it up but it is a birthday present for my guy.

Nope, didn't have that problem at all. I just did a standard bind off and it came out just fine.

I am working on Silver's scarf now using black I Love This Yarn (cheap but soft). I really like the pattern.
