View Full Version : Warmest Mittens and Sculpted Hat

From the book "Knitting Pretty" by Kris Percival.

yarn credits: Light blue = Plymouth Encore worsted colorspun, Dark blue and dark pink = Lion Brand Wool-ease worsted weight.

This was very easy to knit. Both hat and mittens done in a Magic Loop techinique. The hat uses double strand of yarn.

Beautiful work! I just printed out that mitten pattern yesterday because I've never done them before and the instructions looked very clear. I can see from your example that I probably want the ribbing to be a bit shorter (they're for my 8yo) so your photo was very inspiring and helpful! Thank you!

Be sure to try the mittens on as you go. The pattern as written is sized for a medium adult woman hand.

My hands are small, so they are roomy on me.
