I should know better than to read some posts in detail...they will just contain links to patterns, and I will be tempted to add onto my growing list of what to knit next! :teehee:
webbfamily posted a link (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/forum/showpost.php?p=981262&postcount=5) for a headband on Knitty called Nakiska (http://www.knitty.com/issuewinter03/PATTnakiska.html), and I LOVE IT!!!!!! :inlove: But the cable pattern is written in a chart, and I'm really intimidated by charts. So I'm wondering if somebody can PLEASE tell me if I read the chart right? Since it's knitted in the round, you read all eight lines of the pattern from right to left, right? Okay...here goes......
Row 1: K4, P2, K9, P2
Row 2: C2F & K2, P2, C3F & K3, K3, P2
Row 3: K4, P2, K9, P2
Row 4: K4, P2, K9, P2
Row 5: K4, P2, K9, P2
Row 6: C2F & K2, P2, K3, C3B & K3, P2
Row 7: K4, P2, K9, P2
Row 8: K4, P2, K9, P2
