I want to knit a hat with circular needles. I am clueless. Please help. I need easy to follow step by step instructions on casting with them and everything else. Thank you so much

To knit a hat on a circular needle, you need to make sure that you have a needle that has a short enough cord. 16" works for most hats.
You cast on stitches as you normally would. Amy has videos for joining in the round. It's not difficult.
When you get to the top of the hat, you'll need to switch to double-pointed needles as you decrease to the point where the stitches won't fit around the circular needle. This is a great way to learn to use dpns, and Amy has video on that, as well. This should cover your other post, as well.;)
