Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I'm a laceweight luver, so I thought I'd share the tip. Otherwise I'd have bought it all for myself. ;)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm trying not to buy yarn until it gets closer to the holidays. I have a few projects in line and not enough time to complete them. But the colors are nice...:flirt:

Oops, I ordered some. I've spent the last year reading all the raving about malabrigo, and I decided it was finally time to experience it for myself.:yay:

Dammit, why do these things always happen when I am broke? I would give anything to buy some silk for a pattern I just received that is screaming for soft and slinky. Oh well, life goes on and one day my bank account will be in the black again. Let's hope it's soon! I have KNITTING to do.

Ahhhhh...if only I didn't have a million projects to do right now...I can't justify it! But it's SOOOOOOO soft...

:knitting::knitting:You guys are corrupting me. I haven't bought hardly any yarn in 20 years. My hubby helped a Merribee handicraft store owner transport a store load of yarn he bought when a yarn store closed down 150 miles away from our town. In payment I was allowed to pick out as much yarn as I wanted and all we paid was 10 cents on the dollar of his cost. I bought 100's of skeins and am still knitting it up. But I want bunches of all the new yarns out there. I can't knit fast enough! :knitting::knitting:

Has it been all bought? I went to nowandzen and searched for malabrigo...I see none on sale!

I did a product search for 'malabrigo' and it's there - about 8 color choices. I'm tempted, but so far, I've resisted. :D

If they really had what I just ordered, I got 8 sk of rhodesian and 8 of amaroso.

What a rush! I know it is totally unhealthy, but nothing gets me higher than buying Malabrigo.

I really needed that though. I've been moping around since last week when they killed Sara on Prison Break. Yes, also unhealthy! Hopefully two wrongs will make a right here :)

I just got a call that the amaroso I ordered was gone, but she let me replace it with Frank Ochre. My heart was beating so fast as I quickly tried to decide whether or not to substitute, which color and how much. In retrospect, I may have made a mistake as I am blonde and yellow doesn't really suit me - and giving a Malabrigo sweater away doesn't suit me either!

Fingers crossed that it is lovely. At any rate, I will have the rhodesian to comfort me :)

I must say they have great service. I got a call because some of the alpaca/silk I ordered will ship a little later then the rest (yes, I ordered more than one color). I love that they called me right away!
