I am knitting a hat for my MIL who is terminal with cancer. I let my DH pick the color and fiber. In the middle of increasing every stitch, I broke my 3mm circular needles. The picture is the result of me not giving up and just adding needles to get it done. After taking this picture I ended up having to add another needle to help hold all the stitches. In the end it took 6 needles plus a circular needle. I finally finished the brim, and when the hat is finished I will post pictures.

It is now done. Thank the Lord above and the I-cord is the only thing left. I will get a picture tomorrow in the daylight. I counted the stitches needed to finish the brim and it came to 1080. If she does not appreciate it, I hope I get it back.

It is finished with the crocheted cord for a bow. It will go in the mail on Monday. The person wearing it in the picture is my DH.
