Hi, I haven't been around for a while but wow - the new site sure looks good!
My grandmother gave me a bunch of yarn and such that was my great aunt's who passed away this spring. In one bag is a bunch of stockinette swatches (i would guess 6x6). I want to make them into an afghan but am not sure how I should join the pieces. I don't want to mess up my great aunt's hard work. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I would pick out one yarn as a joining yarn and then crochet the pieces together. Maybe a single crochet at top of one square then a chain one and a sc in an adjacent square. sort of a zigzag back and forth. I'm sure someone on the crochet site could suggest some kind of a fancy joining. Ellie
