In this headband pattern is an M1 stitch I've never seen.

If you click on the link, there are 2 rows of instructional photos just below the picture of the finished headband. In the 2nd row of instructional photos are her instructions for her unusual M1 stitch.

If you don't want to click on the link, here is a brief description of her M1:
-- Insert right needle into loop just below the 1st stitch on the left needle.
-- Place loop on left needle.
-- Knit into the back of the loop to complete the increase.

Anyway, I have experimented with her M1 and I like it. If it has a real name, I'd sure like to know what it is. Thank you!

In the Increase section http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/increases it's called KRL, there's also KLL which slants the other way if you want paired increases. I like this one a lot as it seems to be the most invisible inc.

Okay, I see what you're saying. I had thought I had looked at all the increase videos, but now I think I quickly viewed only the KLL video, saw the needle going in 2 rows down and moved on without looking at the KRL. Thank you! Mystery solved!:)
