Hi,
As a beginning, almost intermediate knitter, I wasn't really ready to spend a lot on yarns, but as I'm getting better, I'm ready to start experimenting...my real question is, I have a bi-racial daughter with curly, dry hair and I wanted to knit her hairbands and other hair related things now that it's long enough to warrant it. What fibers would be best? I once read that for bi-racial/African Americans not to use cotton and to make sure their pillow cases were satin. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Melanie
