Here she is - after three starts and three months. This is Elsebeth Lavold's Tilia in Hempathy. There are a few more pics on my blog and Ravelry.

It is obvious that you have mastered the skill of selecting the most harmonious pattern, yarn, and color combination for yourself and executing it with mastery.

I love the colour! How was that yarn to knit with?

Oh my gosh, thanks so much, everyone. I really enjoyed knitting this - even though it took a while. The pattern was interesting and I also love the color.

Hempathy and I did have our moments however. The yarn is very thin - a 2 ply twist and not springy at all. It actually seemed stiff to work with but oddly enough knit loosely. I had to go down two needle sizes to get a fabric that seemed the right drape. It blocked well (I steamed it) and after washing feels very soft. I read somewhere it stretches a lot, so I will let you know after I wear it.
