View Full Version : Found a way to make myself knit faster

I am trying to finish up a baby blanket that I started in October, and cannot seem to get anywhere. Well, 4 days ago, I bid on a car on ebay, now it is down to the last hour or so, and I cannot stop myself from refreshing the page like every 5 minutes or so.:roflhard: I now make myself knit 2 rows of 170 stitches before I can refresh the ebay auction. I have just finished 14 rows in about 2 hours while watching the auction and taking care of 2 sick kids. This blanket will get done soon.:woohoo:

I do things like that too. Guess I need rewards sometimes. Good luck with the car.

Congratulations!! It's so exciting when your bidding on ebay and that last hour is a killer. How are the children?

Thank you very much. We will be the proud owners of a 1995 Rover 114 GSI. The blanket has only 10 more inches until it is put in the mail. Hopefully on Friday it will be on its way to America. The children have fevers, running noses, and coughs. It has been a very "fun" couple of days at our house. And, of course, my husband has duty for 24 hours starting at 7am tomorrow. I will be needing y'all to save my sanity. More later.
