Here is my latest pair of plain 'ol socks. They are in Regia 4 Fadig in a crazy color that I can't really describe. They are knit from the cuff down using magic loop on size 0 Addi turbo lace needles which are the coolest things ever. They make magic loop SO easy. I love magic loop; it's awesome. I have a goal of knitting myself enough socks this winter so that I won't have to wear store bought socks at all. I have a lot of knitting to do.

Great job. I love them. I wish I could watch you do magic loop, I'd like to learn it, but I can't make sense of things I've seen. I need to watch someone do it. I hope you get all the socks you need knit up. :-)

Wow those are gorgeous! They fit perfectly too, I can see why the no store bought socks vow. :teehee:
How long are your Addis? Is magic loop really easier than DPNs? I have some sock yarn and have tried to learn with DPNs but I have been frustrated so far...

I use 40'' but they really don't have to be that long. I just buy the big ones, so if I need longer ones later, I have them.
I used to use DPNs. They are all very lonely now. I was going on my honeymoon and wanted to bring my knitting on the plane. I was afraid of bringing 5 very pointy metal objects on the plane and decided to learn magic loop. I just looked up how to do it on the Internet (this site included); it's just so much faster, and I no longer have ladders where the joins are. I've found that my stiches are much more even now. I also found this to be true when I was working on a pair of socks that used lace. I find that it is really much easier, and I don't "accidently" pull out the wrong needle while knitting.
Those are great, colorful socks. How do the Addi lace circs compare to KP Options?

Thanks! I've never used the KP options, but I love the Addis! I've heard that the KP Options are great though.
