Hi! I'm looking for a pattern for baby legs like these

http://www.snazzytots.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_95_11&products_id=445

Anyone have a pattern or can explain how to go about making them? I want to make some for my 11 week old and I'd like them to stretch so she can wear them when she is a bit older. I have tons of sock yarn, could I use this? What would be the best type of yarn to use if not sock yarn? Anything I need to look out for when making them? Tips, tricks you want to share?

I've done a paire of socks so I know how to knit-in-the-round with DPNs.

Thank you!

Those should be easy enough and I think sock yarn would be perfect. I'd just check my gauge with the yarn I want to use, then decided how big around I wanted the leg. Multiply the stitches per inch by the circumference you want it to be and that's how many stitches you'd want for the main part.

Take about 10 percent off to cast on for the ribbing (maybe more for the ankle and less for the thigh) and go.
