I will succeed

Hi: I've been trying (special effort on "trying") to be successful with a baby hat using the brioche stitch. What a pain. Almost as bad as the gloves I was doing. Think I've got it, but I'm still having to rip a lot. Whew. But, I will succeed, doncha' know! Any suggestions?

I have a brioche hat in my queue to do, so I will also be interested in any suggestions.

I love brioche stitch -- it's the only stitch I know that has its own website! Here's a link: http://www.briochestitch.com/ This is a great site with pictures and videos -- maybe it will help.

Don't worry, with sucess comes practice. Just don't pull it ALL out. You will get it. Might I suggest that you practice the brioche stitch on some scrap yarn. It's a good way to get rid of yarn, and to get in your practice! Good luck!

Hi! My internet friend Jacque, has a demo in two short videos that she just put on her site yesterday or the day before. She's at www.thiskittenknits.com (http://www.thiskittenknits.com) Maybe that will help!? samm
