I am interested in joining a knit-along that involves making a baby sweater, maybe one piece designs. Diane

Hi Diane! I am going to do the Stackpole sweater from WEBS for my 2 youngest nephews.

it is the 3rd pattern down. Does that work for you? I will be doing mine in Berrocco Comfort.

Deb, That is a perfect place to start with knitting a baby sweater. We are not sure what the sex is of our grandchid but this would be great for either.
Since I am new to this site would you mind letting me know how knitters get involved with a knit-along? Diane

Consider us a knit along! I am going to cast on for this by the weekend. This sweater is sized for a toddler, were you wanting to do one for a newborn? Crystal Palace has a really cute one, I'll find it.

Here it is. http://straw.com/cpy/patterns/baby-child/bunnyhop-kimono.html

I did this for a friend of mine a few months ago. The yarn is really nice and it only takes 3 balls for the smallest size. I know there is a way to change the post name to say that we're a KAL but I hasve no clue how to do it.
