I would like to knit up some gift tags for my packages, but I don't want anything TOO time consuming.. Just somehting real quick that wil add a homemade touch and perhaps double as an ornament. Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this helps, but for knitted gifts, I'm using scrapbooking/stamping tags and using the yarn as ties.

I usually do also. I am an avid scrapper/paper crafter. I was hoping to try something new this year. But thanks! :)

Those ARE cute! I think that for time's sake, I may make the stripped one instead of the fair isle.

Kate Gilbert's test mitten (http://www.kategilbert.com/ms_gifted.html) makes a cute little 3 inch mitten that is about the right size for an ornament.
