I knit 2 bags for my friends for Christmas and we're exchanging gifts on Saturday. I fulled them, and now they are way wider than they are long and just don't work! Is there any way I can shrink their width other than sewing? I suck royally at sewing. Thank you in advance!

What a bite!!! I'm so sorry Ruby Soho! I know personally how disappointing it can be to felt something and have it not come out the way you planned. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to get them smaller width wise other than sewing. :(

I don't think there is a way for you to fix the problem either, other than taking in the sides. That happened when I was making a French Market Bag a few years ago. It was about 3 inches high, but the width didn't change very much - looked like a rectangular tray.

I would try hand felting it. You can really fenagle it in wonderous ways sometimes.
