View Full Version : FO: Reversible Cabled Brioche Stitch Scarf
Yet another Christmas gift for another dil. I loved making this scarf. It's Malabrigo on size 8 needles, and the pattern is here (http://fireflowerknits.wordpress.com/2007/10/23/reversible-cabled-brioche-stitch-scarf/) It's a quick knit, and I love the texture of this pattern.

Wow that is lovely...I have printed off the pattern thank you and It will be on my needles later!!!! Can't believe it is a quick knit looks very intricate ... we will see!
How much Mmmmm did it take?
I used 2 hanks of Malabrigo to make a scarf that is 5-1/2 inches wide and 72 inches long. Once I got the hang of brioche stitch it went really fast.

Wow. I don't know what else to say except, "Wow!"
I haven't done cables yet except to fiddle around once. That looks like a lot of work. Didn't you get dizzy going back and forth with the cable needle and the regular needles? I'm kind of dizzy just imagining it all! ;-)
