View Full Version : FO: Argyle socks!!!

Hey everyone! I started these socks back in the fall, but I ran out of the navy blue yarn and had to keep them in hibernation until I could get to my home LYS and get some more. I got it over Thanksgiving, and finally finished them!!! I am so proud, and I love the way they turned out!!! It's my first intarsia project, and while it's not my favorite thing, I love the effect of these socks. It's an awesome vintage pattern that I got from the knitting teach at my LYS.
Stats: Knit on Knit Picks 2.25mm (Size 1) sock needles, with Universal Yarn's Pace in Navy, Pewter, and a cream color. Used duplicate stitch, for the lines, with Knit Picks Essential in Grass and Violet. All the info is on ravelry if you wanna check it out. Let me know what you think! :D

Those are incredible! My DH would like me to make him some, but I told him I'd make him some nice striped ones with self striping yarn!:teehee:

Rachel, they are beautiful. You're going to be up there with Yarnlady and some of the others in skills pretty soon, you're learning so fast. You ARE keeping those, right? They belong on your legs.

I admit it I am jealous! I love your socks, I want  ....
Anyone have any patterns close to it, any argyle I have found usually look weird but I love the pattern on these.

These are gorgeous! Your knitting has come so far in such a short amount of time.
I searched Ravelry's patterns for "argyle socks" and I got several pattern hits but didn't see your socks.

I'm redheadrachel on ravelry...
It's a vintage pattern I got from my LYS, and it's not in their database... :/
