What is on your Christmas list this year?
So, what have you asked for this year? My husband wants a list from me. I would like to get a swift and ball winder. Anyone have recommendations where to get a swift? I'm thinking Joann's for the ball winder with the 40% off coupon.

I want gift certificates to all my favorite stores so I can get what I want

I want a set of Options, but it looks like they are "backordered".

Here is a snippit of my list (just the knitting related stuff!):
1. Set of options
2. Kneedle bag / case - found one I love on eBay
3. Project Bag - nice, non-Victorian flower print one
4. Yarn - gift certificates to my LYS and KnitPicks (I really really want to try knitting with Alpaca / Silk mix but I'm affraid I'll be spoiled ever after).

Well I've already been told I'm not getting any of the above since I have such a large stash he refuses to encourage my obsession. So, I've decided to gift myself - already getting my project bag from Silver (yeah!) and just need to place th eorder on eBay. Merry Christmas to me!

Thing about being single is you buy your own gifts and you know what you're getting... *sigh*

But I got myself an Options set, and it came a couple of days ago. I want to dive into them SO BAD!!! The set was incentive to do more knitting. Options set and Year of the Stash, what a combination... :)

I got my swift from Joann's also with a 50% off coupon. I'm in their free shipping club (free shipping after three orders at least $25 - what a bargain)

I make things easy. I put my wish list on my website (http://www.geocities.com/unkoine). :teehee:

But, I also want some non-knitting things.

Columbo - Season 5
That 70's Show - Season 2
Monk - Season 1
Sims 2 "Seasons"
Brain Age, Cooking Mama 2, and Cake Mania for Nintendo DS
But, I told my hubby I don't want everything. I just wanted him to have stuff to choose from.

Well, one wish came true today. I finally got some Malabrigo. It's going to be a scarf for a friend, but I get to knit with it. It IS wonderful stuff.

As for knitting supplies for me:

a hanging circular holder
a swift and winder
a full set of the antique looking wooden crochet needles
enough Malabrigo worsted to knit myself a sweater

The adults in my family draw names - my big brother got me. He asked for a list so I gave him a long one including a few knitting books and numerous sock yarns I want. He knows not to get them all (there is an unofficial limit of $50 - $70 range) but that I gave him many choices so I'd be somewhat surprised by what I get.

As usual my husband does not have "time" to go xmas shopping for me. At least this year he has an excuse as he is updating is resume and CV which is never a fun task.

So far I have bought myself (from him) a purse and some pjs at Marshalls. I put some stuff in the "shopping cart" at KP and did a screen grab and emailed him my knitting needs list. He is lucky the list is quite small.

My husband lost a bet to me http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_21.gif and he gets to buy me whatever I want!!! However I am being very nice to him, so far I want Charmed Knits, Mason Dixon Knitting, Knitting: 50 Unique Projects and Ideas, the pattern for the Rogue Hooded Pullover from girlfromauntie.com, and a gift certificate from Down Cellar Yarns. I think I might add a gift certificate from Joanne's and Micheals too!

Yes, it is a little slice of heaven to knit with, isn't it?

Too cute!!!
I am picky and don't want anyone else picking out my knitting stuff, so I'm just asking for $$ so I can buy one of Silver's pouches and maybe some more Mmmmmm. Also would love to have a ball winder and swift but that's further down on the list.

I asked my mil to get me circulars larger than size 5 that are longer than 29 inches.
I asked my daughter to get me a needle case and larger sized straights *anything over size 20*
I asked a couple family members to find me "blends" with things like mohair, alpaca, and similar which I have never been able to find here anywhere.
I suggested to my hubby to get me a yarn tote of some sort so I can stop using boxes that end up in the way.
That is my Christmas Knitting Wish List :D

Two years ago my husband didn't know what to give me, so he handed me an envelope and said he decided it was easier to give me a gift certificate good in any store of my choice...I told him there was no such thing...and when I opened up the envelope I had to admit he was right...it had $300 in cash in it!

Having received Options last Christmas and having splurged on a ball winder and Silver's bag for myself, the only thing I want, knitting-wise, is yarn- lots and lots of beautiful yarn. Notice I did NOT say I NEED it.
