Now that you have the official seal of approval, what is your first project going to be? I take it is something white?:)

thank you guys so much

i would like to start with a simple scarf and maybe add some fringe at the end.

i have bought a really cute yarn that is multi colored(purple, yellow, green, orange, and blue blend) so it will make the scarf multi colored without having the bind colors (since i'm a little intimidated by that technique)

i have a question about my swatch though. when i look at it(although you can't see it in the picture) both sides look like garter stitch...i was trying to make a stockinette stitch by alternating knit and purl rows. maybe i am purling incorrectly??

Greate start! Keep knitting.

If you knitted this in stockinette stitch it should be smooth on the other side.

Keep watching Amy's vidoes. There is one where she does a small swatch. Watch it to the end - it's very good.

It looks nice and square. You are definitely ready to make something. What will it be?
